I heard that a boat went down on the Solduc hatchery drift last weekend, does anyone have any info on that?

FYI: there is a pretty good size tree 3/4 of the way across the river at the Loop Hole (upper duc), I think this is where the boat went down, hope all were safe and the gear got recovered.

I would like to say thanks to the guide that warned me and my partners about the tree last Friday, I dont know your name but if your reading this THANK YOU!
This tree is about 4 miles down from the hatchery launch, some people call the rapids "Oh Shait" rapids, I'm sure the name fits this rapid pretty well.

Thanks for the reply mreyns_tgl.:) Good fishing to you.

Well if that tree is still there, Sunday...with all the rain forecast for that area........10+ inches, I'd say it'll be a chain saw show.

Just checked all the rivers in that area......straight up, will be lots more....everyone be safe....
