For sale

2012 Etech motor, I fish lots but I never run very far. Would guess the motor has less than 150 hours.

For interested parties, can go for a "boat ride". NO problems, starts very easy, runs great, idles, have all the paper work. 2 years left on factory warranty.

My boat with 3 people.....35 mph..

Price $8500.00....would share move to your boat $$$$$

I know the price is good, and White Power is right......wish I had a hour meter, but I know its not much.

Tom's Outboard, in Olympia, was suppose to be working on a "trade in deal"......thinking he just likes to sell new......OR he's mighty slow....

Got to be some 90 HP boat owners, that want more "get up and go"???? I see quite a few boats, where getting on plane is a more than the motor can handle.

My Etech weights 390#, which is less than many 4 strokes. Not as quiet as a 4 stroke but not bad.

If I can't sell.....I'll just "fish it".

Well, if I sell the 130....then I'll post in here what the replacement will be!!!
The boat as it is now....with EyeFISH, Rivrguy and myself, the boat did 35MPH, so the motor is a runner.

Cobbly Cruiser...

When I retired in 1997, I went to Woolridge, on Martin King Road and chatted, went thru the built area. At that time, they weren't interested in building a "small but wide" boat. The boats they build are very well done but just not what I wanted.

I hear ya, I was only responding to the price on the ETEC. My sig line is where I work. smile

You're right though, the under 20' versions back then didn't feature the bottom and beam widths they do now. Our 17' AK XL's have a 6'4" bottom and there are options on the 17' XP's to get 6 1/2' or even 7' if a guy wanted to get a very "squarish" looking boat. Haven't seen that yet though. We definitely see the wisdom in smaller sled bottom width in terms of side drifting, plug pulling, hauling weight etc.

Sold Etech 130, V4 motor....not thru here....

New motor will be the 2016 Etech Jet, comes right from factory with pump on it.

The motor is a Etech 150, V6.....105 HP at the pump. Should get my boat "on plane".......lol

Etech doesn't have a factory jet larger than the new 150/105. You would be correct...weight on the ETECH regular prop motor, is the same for the 135, 150, 175, and 200 are all the same.....I really don't understand how they all have the same block but able to get that much HP from engine to engine.

My boat would be scary with a 200 prop but I think the 150/105 will be ok. I see boats all the time, that could use more HP....nice to be able to backoff the throttle and run at 3500 - 4000 RPM, than closer to the "red line"...I'll know, soon...
