I have been saving up all my rage about fishing partners who are constantly late, don't show or otherwise screw up great fishing trips. I would hope that anyone reading this will do there best to be on time. If you can not be on time or change yer friggin mind please let whoever is going to be affected by your actions know that they have been s**ewed so that they can get on with thier lives and quit standing there waiting for your inconsiderate soul.
Thank You and have a nice day. Jeff

HHmmmmm, do we all fish with the same friggin guy?? I would gladly fish with any of you guys. because you sound as serious about the events that are about to take place on any given morning, as I am, my fishing time is to valueable to me, to wait for some guy that is constantly late, and then says, "you got the eggs right"?? see you on the water, tight lines.

AMEN...my brother...and HALLELUJAH!!! We've got us a revival!!! No patience for late folk or no shows!!! It's happened 4 out of 5 times this year which is why I ALSO prefer to fish alone...that, and the gear on my boat stays organized the way I like it!!! (maybe I'm just an anti-social!?!?!? Naaaaa!) Just don't like missing the tides or the early bite!!! L ------------------ "Great spirits have always encountered opposition from mediocre minds!" Albert Einstein

BK, good to hear the "crew" has been getting some drag time in, I've just been doin' the coho thing in area 10, releasing some hog kings, but finding more than enough silvers to keep me going back, some new ocean fish showed up these past few days, along with the residents, bite has been good to great. call me sometime, you got the number, I wont be late, thats for sure.....

Here's what you do if they dont show. You drive to there house and go right into there room and rip them outa bed and say "Morning ol' buddy." lol Nothing worse than waiting for someone while watching drift boats cruz up the road ahead of you. Fishing alone is the best method because you got total control on how long you want to fish and were. =)

P.S If you have a great fishin partner like some of us, dont let em go!

AMEN! I have one person i fish with on a regular basis. He is always on time(WITHIN 5 MINUTES EITHER WAY). The same for me when he is driving? Our fishing time is limited enough as it is so you have to get all you can get.
Tight lines!

Ohhh Nelly! I have a fishing partner that I have fished with for quite some time and everything was great, we bought a boat together, went halfs on gear, bait, gas, whatever. Then one trip he fell asleep in the boat. I kept my mouth shut but made the ride as rough as possible for him. We joked about it the next day and so forth. We fished every spare moment that we had and spent more time on the river than on land. I was in heaven. About a month later this same friend would tell me he would meet me somewhere at 4:00 in the morning to head out fishing and I would be there at 3:30 hoping he would come early so we could get a jump start on things, but time after time he wouldn't show. To this day he tells me he will show and never does, man it gets old time after time, but I wanted to know why he was ditching me all of the time. So I did some investigating and found out that my friend would drink himself away every night. Man what a waste! Life is to much fun to let that kind of crap take over. All I have to say is that I have a drift boat and a sled that are always open so if anyone likes to fish, and I mean fish hardcore, I am very serious when it comes to fishing and I like to have a good time, but I know when to draw the line, give me a hollar...

Good subject! Are you guilty sh*theads listening? I've been pretty lucky in having fishing partners that are reliable. It's pretty easy to set 2 alarms; the second one out of reach from the bed. But I've had a few earlier on that were often late or would be a no show on occassion. I won't fish with losers like that, so it's a brief problem that I make go away right away (unless there was a good reason behind their misbehavior, that won't be happening regularly). The worst offenders don't bother to call you with an explaination of why they didn't show up. I consider such persons to be genuinely disfunctional, with serious problems needing resolution. And probably another recreation than fishing. - RT

Great Topic Guys,my partners are few and far between ,I fish alone a lot...I can say that in the past few years I have only been late once and that was a miscomunication as to where we were meeting ( sorry Salmonhead ) I caught him at the lauch and we caught fish . At least have a good excuse ..I hate the one...well I had to put some ointment on my Emu ...that one really bites ------------------ Row Quietly and fish a Cataraft }<<(('>----<'))>>{ Release all Wild Fish
