Any help with info on Kodiak area for Silvers? My Uncle and I are leaving Sep. 10 for one week. Any info on where to go and what to use would be greatly appreciated. I have never been up there. He has gone a few times and said we will be fishing the rivers. Sorry, not much info but I can get names of rivers if it helps? Thanks in advance.

The Buskin river flows right by the airport and is a good bet for silvers. There are several excellent sporting goods stores in Kodiak that can direct you to the right spots with the right tackle. A do-it-yourself driving vacation is very do able with several rivers and lots of shorefront available on the limited road system. BIG Silvers..this is the first time in several years I won't be there this time of year. Toss pixees, vibrax, or bright marabou flies at them.
