The whole idea behind affordable health care was to get freeloaders to pay so those who do pay will not have to pay inflated rates due to those who do not pay.

So if Trump uses Mexican labor to build the wall, will he make them buy health care? If they get hurt will they get workman's comp?

How's your insurance? Actually I'm covered on my spouse's insurance.

Haven't checked the premiums but I'm fairly certain they didn't go down. I believe the co-pays are the same. We also pay into a flexible savings account for health care payments that are not covered by insurance and co-pays, even can by OTC meds and vitamins but have to submit claims. I think a lot of money for health care goes into administration, billing, and dealing with insurance.

Drug companies also spent a lot on research for new drugs. Dad just started a drug that was approved to fight cancer last year, Opdivo. I think this is the same as the drug Jimmy Carter was on to eliminate his cancer. It helps your immune system fight the cancer. I think it de-activates a certain protein on the DNA in cancer cells to allow your immune system to fight it. It's not cheap.

That does it....they just locked up 120% of the illegal alien vote.

My wife's HSA gets a $2000 contribution from her employer to help offset the higher deductible under Obama care. The maximum yearly contribution from her is $10000 and she can roll those pretax deductions into her 410k as long as she keeps $2000 in the HSA. The HSA contribution to the 401k is not subject to the limits on the 401k itself. INOW it is outside of the 16% cap.
