after checking the WDFW website, it would seem that if you lost your card you can still file it by email... and it just so happens that I lost all my family's cards in a boating accident, but fortunately I scanned all 24' of our catch record cards to PDF after the end of the season...

here is the WDFW email address that you can email the PDF's to...

Catch.Reporting@dfw.wa.gov

lost my Catch Record Card! What do I do?

You are still required you report your catch information by the due date, even if you lost your card. If you no longer have your card, mail the information requested below to:

WDFW CRC Unit
600 Capitol Way North
Olympia, WA 98501-1091
Or send the catch report by e-mail to: Catch.Reporting@dfw.wa.gov

Provide the following information:

Your full name
Date of birth
WILD identification number, if you know it (found on your license)
Telephone number or e-mail address (so we can contact you with questions.)
All retained salmon, sturgeon, steelhead, Dungeness crab and halibut catch information (See complete instructions on how to fill out your Catch Record Card).
If you have further questions, you may contact the Catch Record Card Unit by e-mail at Catch.Reporting@dfw.wa.gov
or call (360) 902-2707 Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
