A while back someone inquired about a fish friendly net that was easier on fish that were going to be returned. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
As a side note, just got off the Rogue River Canyon, had a great float trip and caught quite a few half pounders, lots of fun if you can take the 5 days to do it.

Frabill makes a knotless mesh net that's easier on fish. I believe the URL is www.frabill.com

There's also a cradle (two parallel sticks w/ knotless mesh in-between) marketed for C & R muskie and big salmon fishing. Haven't used it but you can buy one through Berry Bros in Vancouver. www.berrysbait.com gets you there.

I used the Frabril plastic coated net for C & R last steelhead season, and was quite satisfied with it. The net is endorced by Buzz Ramsey, Frabril is a midwest company. It's a bit shallow, but that keeps the fish from tangling in a deeper bag. I saw the same model I ordered from Frabril (and paid shipping) at Sportco--same price less shipping. I'd recommend the Frabril.

Ask the really big one where he got his CnR net.I haven't been able to find that style any where.Bob's CnR net worked great on all our fish last winter/spring. STRIKE ZONE

What you're looking for is a tight, soft mesh net from Loki. That's what a lot of guides up on various C&R rivers use. Teds has them for around $60. Very friendly on the fish.
