Hey Guys how did the clean-up go,I've got a meeting in Portland on Friday,and will be hitting the river on the way home I fished for springers and steelies before...I'll probably be tossing Eggs and or spinners ...upper or lower river Thanks in advanced.....

Osprey I take it you will be fishing from the bank since it is only a short trip. One of the clean up members whent up to the canyons and fished dead line and came out with a 20# nookie. At this time most of the pressure is in the lower river but they are dumping fish over the trap almost everyday. I would say fish above Modrow. Beginers hole area is fly fishing only till Oct 1st. Oh the 20#er was caught drifting eggs. Good luck and may the great nookie in the sky be with you.

So he got a little nookie in the canyon sorry could'nt resist,I will be a maggot for a day, might hike up in the canyon myself,have the silvers made it that far yet?
I've got some fresh cured eggs I'm dying to try.

Osprey I wish I could meet with you to do some fishing but I have clients in town for the week end. From what I hear the silvers are in the canyon. Still stacked in the deep holes. Try below painted rock there is some real good water there. Good luck.

hey osprey, i tried emailing you last night but i got a return no user email back, my new email is narnia1975@juno.com, im not sure if i could go on friday but sat works for me..but if not i will be fishin down on the cowlitz sat anyways, if there is no other plans, i hear they have some big fish down there coming in..i was wondering where do you get your eggs? im not gonna buy any from the indians but i want to cure some up badly any info on whereabouts some fesh or semi fresh eggs can be had and do silvers have fat eggs like kings or chums? well anyways..see ya around..***schitzo***

Berkley boy I get my eggs the old fashion way I catch hens I do prefer siver eggs for winter steelies too,still haven't made my mind up yet In fact I'll probably be like Mrs Osprey and change my mind several times before I leave in the morning oh well sooo many choices

Sorry for not getting back to you. I've been out of town for a few days. I see Kalamabama answered your question and that's the same answer I would have given. When I was up at the deadline last Saturday, I saw a good number of fish, but they appeared to be Kings, not silvers. I saw another fish being packed out and it was also a King. Good luck and let us know how you did.
