Great news !
The Seahawks received two third round compensatory draft picks for April's NFL Draft.
Maybe the Fawks will use those picks on DEs they can convert to the OL. Cable does a swell job with those. BTW, you can't trade comp picks. Once you get them you have to keep them. Don't even get me started......

They changed the rule starting 2017. NFL owners approved two changes Wednesday that might have an effect on the NFL draft starting in 2017 and free agency in 2016. The owners, who are meeting in Irving, Texas, voted to allow compensatory draft picks to be traded beginning in 2017 and also voted to shorten the "legal tampering window" before free agency from three days to two. In the past, compensatory picks -- awarded to teams for losing a certain number of free agents -- have not been tradeable.

The Branden Albert ( Dullfins) news should be interesting to people looking for tackle help. Any player released from a contract does not count towards or against the compensatory pick formula.  That said, the options for a veteran LT to bring in to compete with Fant have improved of late. Albert, Whitworth, Reiff, Clady, Beachum, Kahlil, Joekel, and likely Okung will be out there.

Yeah, Walsh missed crucial kicks too... Hauschka is the fourth most accurate kicker in NFL history...
Walsh is like a bandaid on a bandaid..
Allot of kickers missed last year, and that was because they moved the extra points back to make them more crucial.. Pretty much did the trick..

Per Jordan Schultz via Twitter, meeting (including wife) just finished. Went great, could know tomorrow. Who knows? I thought they already had a meeting, so having the wife there to see the city could be a good sign. Also, could mean nothing but it looks like Lang has followed @Seahawks on Twitter. Sounds possible anyway, depending on how Green Bay responds.
