I watched the Netflix Doc on anonymous. Very interesting group to say the least. personally fish prince could fit quite nicely with these folks.

I'm honestly not sure about the free easy living in Germany your referring to. The allied 24 hour aday bombings pretty decimated Germany. It took 30 years after the end of WW2 Before Germany was halfway back to pre WW2 condition.
