Booked. Leaving for Guatemala the 24. Looking at a 40 ft sailboat there Î'm considering buying. On to Caye Caulker abd Caye Ambergrise for awhile.

Grand Cayman for me, but not until June. My Finacee owns a house there, so that'll be our wintery destination for year to come. Tarpon and snook off the back porch!

I spent 6 years living "away" in paradise. Now I'm enjoying getting away to the rivers that feel like home. And it helps that fishing has been good.

Ive been half dead with the worst fever in years the last two days. Leaving for Hawaii sat Morning. I'm glad I'm getting my immune system jacked up before I fly. There are too many stories of tropical winter vacations gone sick as a dog.

If by "get away" you mean work your arse-off...then yes, I've been "getting away" for years now. I never take "real" vacations and I can't even recall the last one I had or where I even went. I take one or two days here and there to hunt or fish in the state. That's about it. My job won't allow for more than that. I work - that's what I do. After all, somebody has to pay for Evo's SNAP card amiright? If by "get away" you really mean "F it - I'm done forever"! Then I'm all about cashing in my chips and going off-grid into a nice cozy little cabin deep in the Alaskan bush. Hunting, fishing, trapping, tying flies and splitting wood. THAT would be my IDEAL simple kind of life and I would absolutely rock it. But alas and realistically, tis' not to be in this lifetime...
