What does the owner figure a guy is going to do in one year to turn the program around? I suppose the coaches don't care because like you said - sign contract - get fired - relax and collect.

This would be completely ridiculous by the NFL. By all accounts Sherman practiced fully every practice and he definitely played in every game. EVERY single player in the NFL has some sort of injury by mid season. Any injury that a player can practice through isn't serious enough to need to be reported. If they choose to single out the Seahawks, it will sour even more people on the NFL as a whole, and Roger Goodell specifically. The entire league has players playing hurt that aren't on their reports.  Great way to start the off season.

Luck played with cracked ribs most of last season. Does anybody expect the Colts to put down on piece of paper, "Hey, our QB's ribs are all fuckedup so forget the deep ball and just go after Luck?" Same deal for the Hawks. Interesting that the Falcons were the only team who went after Sherman. Twice. I guess they saw it on film??
But the Hawks will probably lose a 2nd rounder because, well, Goodell is a donkeys ass!

They're in trouble because they LIED to the NFL. Multiple times. It's not so simple as "not reporting it". They actually LIED to the NFL and reported that his practice absences were personal / non-football related and then it was an "ankle injury" that he actually never had. Pretty sure the NFL, like most of us, don't like being LIED to. No?
Petey must be getting soft in his old head or just super arrogant. Why on earth would you go on sports radio and chat about breaking league rules? Dumbass.
2nd round in the draft is when most of the stud o-line guys get picked up. Just sayin'.
