Fished it today and didn't see many but saw a few for how many many people were on the river. Most of them where just dinks, only saw a couple 6 to 8 pounders walk out.

I fished the Carbon Sunday. I got there a little late. I saw a dozen fish taken anywhere from 3 to about 6 pounds. There were allot of people. I took one of the 3 pounders.

Does anybody know if the size of the Silvers will start to increase or are we at the end of the run?

The size of the silvers on the Carbon/Puyallup system is determined by the (un)-naturally selective process of how big the openings in the indian nets are. Prior to 1977, the silvers on this river were absolute slabs more reminiscent of the hook nosed variety found on the Satsop. Decades of monofilament strip mining by our native brothers have all but eliminated the native stocks in this system. Now we are happy just to see a few dinks coming back to the hatchery at Voights creek.
So I guess the answer to kwickens question is, no , we are not at the end of the run. And, no, they don't get much bigger.
