Damn, Sidney Jones had a bad leg injury at today's pro day. I hope he had some type of insurance policy. I feel sorry for the guy.  Tore his Achilles tendon. I feel bad for the kid too. That injury will cost him a season and being a 1st round pick. That's a lot of money he'll be losng. Damn, that's not good. Is it common practice for these potential high draft picks to take insurance policies like Lloyd’s of London's. ?

That is seriously messed up - few players come back to their normal level of performance after an Achilles injury.

I'd guess we were close and he went with the home town team for family reasons. Crap....this bites the big one!!! Oh well, at least the pack got trolled as well.  SZ...I heard Pete saying that Fant stayed in Seattle and has been working out at the VMACK. I wouldn't right this guy off. It's pretty amazing how well he played since not playing since the eight grade. Just a hunch, he might need another year though.

I like this move because it's his last chance in this league. If he comes here in shape and stays that way the whole season it could be really good for him and us. If he gets fat again and lazy he is done.
It's as simple as that. Hope he sees it as well. And it's only a 1 year deal...win, win.

he played 5 games last year...
and had a 5.1 YPC record...
everyone already knows what he did the 3 years before...
Rawls and Prosise arent working for us, if either of them get injured next year expect them to be gone....

Seahawks re-sign cornerback Neiko Thorpe.
I remember him always making plays on special teams and being a great tackler. Great to see him back.
