Planning to launch out of Everett and fish the bubble this weekend for the first time (evening/afternoon low tide change) with my wife.

Should be a proper zoo by now with the reports being posted on FB. With any luck the crab pots will be in there by now as well.

I've heard crab pots can make it pretty dodgy.

Ive found the fish are suspended when I have fished the bubble, which hasnt been for a long time. That's because it is typically deader than dead and amounts to a nice boat ride.

When I have caught fish there, 70-90 feet of wire, flasher and a Ace Hi or green hoochie on a longer leader, like 40-50 inches. 2.5-3mph SOG.

Tip: don't plan on catching much and just enjoy the boat ride. And what SG said. Fish the same way you do in the rest of the sound. Good luck,
