I just heard that a team of my Canadian JTF2 students shattered the longest confirmed sniper kill with a 3,450 metre poke (2.14 mile, 3.4 km). Beat the existing record by a good 1,000 metres. eek2

Tac-50 in .50 BMG glassed up with the Hubble Space Telescope. At that distance, it takes about 10 seconds for the bad guy to hear "Sorry eh!"

Just like I taught em'. moose

A .50 BMG to the noggin at any distance would make for a bad day.

Something like 113 mils of elevation. Crazy good shot.
