well i finally found the headworks in plamer,
and i have a few questions.
1) when driving to the headworks there is a side road on the left side, is it o.k. to drive, and park on this road?
2) is o.k. to walk through the city's property to go up river.
3) i also found palmer state park, how do i get to the hatchery side?.

How to get to the Hatchery Side: Walk across the river. Hah!

Assuming you came from Maple Valley, when you went to Palmer State Park you went past an old landmark near the hatchery. There is a place that used to be called the Green River Tavern, it is now a motorcycle dealer/shop/something. The moto-someting is on the road down to the hatchery. Go down that road to the bottom of the hill and park in the first parking lot on the left. there is usually a car or three there. Then follow the signs.

Yes, it's ok to drive or park on the dirt road. Yes, you can walk above the gate but no bikes. The hatchery side of palmer is closed to fishing around the trap. check the reg's.
