Does anyone have a weather site that offers recent preciptation amounts that have accumulated over say last 24 or 48 hours? When trying to plan trips from the eastside to the westside, sometimes the river levels are not quite enough information. Thanks.

Try both the National Weather Service and NOAA. They have numerous links to field stations around the state. You will have to do some surfing though. I too, have had a hard time finding stations with precipitation amounts......odd, they list every other type of data. But, they are out there. With enough exploring I always find what I'm looking for.

I use the National Weather Service "current condition" which is part of the NOAA site.

Gives you precip. totals for the past 3, 6 and 24 hours. Quillayute station (Forks area) for instance has received 2.42 inches the past 24 hours. The precip. data is only listed under the "current conditions" on the first pull down menu and click on the station you want. Also gives hourly rain status. Most are airport stations. I can hear the fish moving in now!
