Any word on the Cowlitz from this week? Or how about a prediction for this weekend.

The only prediction I'll make is that I'll be at the Blue Creek launch at dawn tomorrow . We saw lots of kings from the barrier dam down last weekend, but no hookups. Only saw one fish caught, a nice king right by the barrier dam boat ramp just as we were launching our driftboat. Hopefully the rain will start something!

Spoke with a guy while we were fishing the Nisqually this afternoon (don't waste your time there) and he had been at Barrier Dam yesterday and limited out on silvers. He said he was headed back there tomorrow. The commercials last day (we hope) in the Columbia is tomorrow, the Cow should start to heat back up again next week.

We fished the cowlitz for 4 days last week (Thurs.thru Sun.)caught a few.
Fish caught a king in the teens on Thurs. and we caught quite a few blackmouth and native silvers, nothing we could keep, but a fun trip all the same. Tony

I guess so, it is closed for chinooks, that`s why we could`nt keep anything.
We were targeting hatchery silvers and late summer run steelhead

Stop by at the dam to see a mob of people fishing right on the line of no return. Saw a good number of fish being cought right off the bank.
