I was wondering where to find info on getting a Quinault permit to fish the reservation? And do you have to hire a guide? What areas are you limited to? Any info would be great.

Rivernut, Call the Quinault Tribal office @ 360.276.8211 or 8215 and ask to be sent the list of Quinault Indian guides. You must be with a Quinault member to fish on the rez. The Guides fish Salmon River, Quinault River, Cook Creek, and the Queets. Ask for references.

Thanks Bigdog, wait a second.......there, I had to adjust my hat as it all of the sudden got a little tight

In all fairness there are many guides on the Quinault who will do a good job. My hat goes off to those guides who make a living on public land, with all the public pressure, they have to be good. We're spoiled on the Quinault.
