Can't tell you anything about the picture. It did happen close to the boat launch, Black Creek, on the Wynoochee. It did happen February 20, 2018, Tuesday. I can't tell if person was coming from the North, lost control, and happen to put pickup and jet boat where you see it. Do know that a big alder tree stopped pickup from going into Black Creek. Any one that was there...please comment... Be careful.....

Years (40+) ago I was driving south on 101 just across the Big Quil. In late November, there was snow and ice on the road. Suddenly, we jumped into the northbound lane. Fortunately, nobody was coming down the hill. The car just jumped over for no discernible reason. We were driving to Astoria; pucker factor really didn't abate until arrival.
Never saw any reason why it happened. Be careful.

Found out what happen:
Person got to launch area, THOUGHT he put truck in park, got out to check if drain plug was in......truck started to roll, went off upper East side of ramp, when truck went over hill, pulled boat around....truck hit alder tree and stopped truck and boat/trailer. If not for the tree, both truck and boat/trailer would have ended up in Black Creek.
That's what I know......have not seen the truck or the boat/trailer !!!!!
