I'm headed to the Klickitat River this weekend with a buddy to see if the late run coho are still around. Does anyone have information on river levels?

We've had some rain in the Vancouver area but haven't heard whether the eastern Gorge got any. I hope the river isn't completely blown out.

We plan on fishing the canyon below Fisher Hill bridge. If there isn't much happening, we'll probably go upstream but not sure where. Thanks in advance for any info.

We have a place on the Klickitat, with the little rain that we received the river SHOULD be fine, also, the river in the lower section always seems to be a little clearer than up above, I think there are some springs and small creeks that flow into the lower section keeping it fairly clean. Let me know how you do up there, I was thinking about going up next weekend. Good Luck!!!!

The Klickitat is still fairly clear. Silver fishing below the Fisher Hill bridge has been pretty slow. Only a lucky few have been catching fish. I think the key is to have the perfect eggs. Still quite a few boats fishing the mouth but I havn't heard how good they have been doing. Been too busy not shooting elk to find out.

Thanks guys for the information on the Klickitat. Unfortunately, my fishing buddy had something else come up and he backed out. So I didn't go.

I went to the Kalama River instead. I fished the canyon near the deadline. I landed a dark male coho on spinner, which I promptly released. I helped another guy land a nice summer run buck. It was a wild fish. We released it quickly and it never left the water. It was a wild fish but it fought just like a hatchery brat. Sorta lethargic. The water levels and clarity were just about perfect. It should still be good this weekend.
