Looks like I was wrong, well at-least there was some fair reporting on it.
Most importantly justice was served partially anyways, now we need some corrupt investigators, prosecutors and judges to pay a serious penalty.

Some clarity for those following along at home. These are the Hammonds and they're good folk. It's Bundys' whom are the douche waffles. The Hammonds turned the Bundy's offer for help away and that's how the great Hatfield n' McCoy Wildlife Refuge Dustup of 2016 happened. True story.
Also, this news was on every single website in the entire world yesterday. All of them. Including Good Housekeeping, CATS! and willitfit?.com.

The Hammonds are good folk alright, like all good folks who poach 8 or 9 deer and commit arson by starting a wildfire to try to conceal the evidence. The kind of good folk who make up Trump's base and the kind of good folk Trump likes to hang with. The jury acquitted them of most of the charges, including the poaching charge. They did not acquit them of starting the fire on federal land and that's why they went to the slammer. Doesn't matter though, cuz they're still diicks for being greedy, land grabbin' arsonists. "Good folk" was tongue in cheek...hence the "true story".
