Considering the Down River Equipment (DRE) rowing frames for my 16 Sotar cat. Really like thier rounded corners, smooth connections, and casting brace platform, but hate the pointed set screws sticking into the aluminum tubes. Any suggestions for alternative designs or cat frames?

I have a DRE frame, and although a relative novice, love it. The screws don't really stick into the tubes - they are recessed hex screws. The locking pins come out the sides. The advantage of this frame is you can break it apart if you ever plan to ship it, or even try to do a remote river. Mo

DRE has the best total breakdown frame out there ,as far design goes they ares ome what limited ,for a fishing frame Coyote frames are pretty good ,but I like mine best ,I took all the good ideas and a few of my own and created a white fishing frame.....Os
