I've shot a LOT of coyotes with a Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle. Yes in .223.

Most of the ones I managed to hit with that POS rifle managed to scoot across the fence, back into the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge to die a slow and painful death.

Paintball guns were banned from the SRC a long time ago.



The same year I believe Dave Vedder caught on fire from a bottle rocket (Thanks Sol) which also got fireworks banned.

Meh, 5 round mags? woooo. Ruger would be one of the last AR platforms I would consider. I would go with the CZ Scorpion 9mm carbine with a 20/30 mag. I might buy one this week. I have the CZ 805 Bren in 5.56, the smoothest action I've ever seen. Put a side folding SBT brace 23" inches folded. I can carry it in my truck if i want, it's considered a pistol.
