If our rivers are to be closed on us and no-one really knows exactly what the indians take on our fish is. And how accurate their reports on catches are. How's about forming big brother watch dog groups on our closed rivers. Groups of guys willing to take time to sit, take pictures and actually count what the tribal take on our steelhead is. At least on the Skagit they are not netting on tribal land and can be carefully watched.
This would surely raise the eyebrows of the indians and bring about an awareness about how much we really do care.
Causing no trouble. Just peacefully watching taking pictures and counting. Do we really know what their takes actually are?
E-Mail me if your are interested in doing this on the Skagit with me this spring. And lets here everyones ideas on this and if we're all for it lets form similar watch dog groups on the other rivers. J--<")(\(\)>{
