The Mets and Mariners completed a blockbuster trade Monday, with Seattle sending second baseman Robinson Cano and closer Edwin Diaz to New York for outfielder Jay Bruce, righties Anthony Swarzak and Gerson Bautista and prospects Jarred Kelenic and Justin Dunn. Seattle has committed to a major teardown this winter, trading Mike Zunino (Rays), James Paxton (Yankees) and Alex Colome (White Sox) before Monday. The M's are also working on a deal that will send star shortstop Jean Segura to the Phillies and are open to more moves as the winter meetings approach--- It sounds like Segura to Phillies is a done deal if he waives his no trade clause. https://www.masslive.com/redsox/index.ssf/2018/12/robinson_cano_trade_mets_acqui.html

Now that the Mariners have bullied a new NBA arena out of the neighborhood and have deposited their 250 million in taxpayers funds they can afford to dump all of the salary and retain their rightful place as the worse franchise in all of pro sports!

I'm hoping the highlight tape of the 95 teams breaks real soon.
I bet companies are lining up right and left for naming rights to the stadium and a 60 win per season ball club.
They are a [Bleeeeep!] franchise.

When they let the big unit go because the front office didn't reach out to him when his Father died in the off season. Randy was pissed. Then he ends up winning 7 Cy Young's after leaving the manures......  Without question the top 2 lefties baseball has ever seen, imo. Chuck is going to need some counseling.

Slow learner? This team has been the best farm team in MLB. Having owners out of the country for most of the franchise's history is what started this cluster fuk.
