I have a float tube that is pretty old and I am kind of scared to use it. What is the lifespan of the rubber innertubes inside them?

Eggman, the problem my buddy and girlfriend have is in their firing pin. It gets flattened out and needs to be filed so it fits cleanly through the hole in the bolt. I also second getting stainless, blackpowder is super corrosive at it is, stainles
