Has anyone ever called WDFW to voice opinions/concerns and if so what happened?

There is no one by the name of "WDFW." I have called specific people at WDFW, always one of the biologists. I've written letters to the WDFW Director and gotten a response. Last time was a 6-page letter and an 8-page reply. The most interesting part to me is that, even after explaining that "we know" and "how we know," once the Department has issued a statement that is a lie, they will double down on that lie rather than admitting to the facts that we both know to be true.

Contacting wdfw in covid times has been very difficult. They seem to have a lot of older staff that didn't make the remote transition well.

I have been attempting to get a carp permit since last year.
A bio came out and approved it July 2020... the application was forwarded to sepa just this week. It sat in limbo in monte for 8 months...

Luckily I found a guy (Tim) that took the bull by the horns, apologized for the delay and moved it forward.

I take it no-one has had any luck contacting WDFW? Do they not know or care what we think? How in TF are people going to have any impact on fisheries if they don’t know what we think?
