Where's a good a place for a bank angler to fish the Sauk?

Theres a road that follows that river from the Suiattle for about 5 miles. Sorry but I doubt that your going to find anyone that is going to give up many locations. There is a lot of access if you are willing to explore.

There is a lot of snow still up there, makes it difficult to find a place to park.

Don't know the sauk or skagit very well but will say this. Pick your water height well and look for a falling river. From just below the Suaittle to the next bridge you will
find places that can be seen from the road and will require a hike. Good lluck I hope you catch one. That will be one more than me over the years. It is tough fishing

best spot is where the Suiattle dumps into the sauk....50 yards below where they meet...just float a red and white jig and you'll be fine

Thanks for the info Sabi I didn't catch any steelhead but I caught two large dollys on a spoon. I'll be back next weekend to try again though.

Allot easier to find some then wait for someone to tell you a spot...
