Looking for advice on the best weekend to book a charter out of Westport. Probably a bottomfish trip on Saturday then salmon on Sunday. I've been out before when the currents have sucked for fishing, and trying to avoid that. My available weekends are July 11-12, July 18-19, and Aug 1-2. If you have the knowledge, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I am on the other side of the world but in looking at the tide charts, I would recommend July 11 and 12th, then the 18th and 19th, then Aug. 1 & 2. Disclaimer, this is based on the morning tides for those days, if you are not going out in the morning, things could change.

August I would do Tuna but do a fast boat ( six person ) and several go out of Westport. I am fishing on Coleman's 42 ft Defiance and he has 29' Defiance Pilothouse boats also.
