I'm thinking of doing some Chum scouting this weekend. I'd like to check some of the creeks in the South Sound, and possibly toss a fly here or there. If any of you do the same this weekend, I'd like to know about it. I'll post a report on Monday if I get out.

BTW, we still going to plan a flyguy get togeather on a estuary next month?

Plans changed this weekend. I did get to take my float tube out on a local lake but the wind came up after a couple of minutes and I had to leave after a half hour of fishing. Saw no fish. I'll see if I can find my first Chum of the year next weekend.

I will probably take my boat down to the south sound mid-week (I took off another week for fishing!) and I will report back on what I see.

I have gotten a report that chum have been seen in Miller Bay and at Chico Creek.
