Fished for about 15 minutes in the wind and waves on saturday morning before setting the shrimp pots on the canal. On about cast #5 i got my first fish on a small clouser. About 17" or so but very skinny still. hooked several others on poppers and a couple more on the clouser before i had to go and pick up my crew on the beach.
should only get better from here on through the summer.
