Well, got to fish and caught some of the game, funny husky fans don't gloat even after catching the pregame flack. Cougs werent all that this year, hope they do better next year. Oregon or Wa. State, you got to pull for the dogs next week.

I hate to say it but yeah, I'll probablly be rooting for the Canes to loose. Now darnit, I didn't say rooting for the Huskies to win. Just a bit dissapointed as usual. If I wanted life to be easy I would not have gone to WSU or settled in SW Washington. Guess I'll get to drive to a bowl game...in Safeco. Dawgs didn't play perfect, but alot better than the Cougs. A B-11 team could have predicted thier offensive game plan today. Next year is always ahead of us!!

Yeah, Go Hurricanes! Go straight back to he!!, that is. Hopefully crying and limping. How could anybody possibly root for any Florida school in anything? I ain't exactly a Husky or Cougar fan, but I am rooting for the Dawgs anytime they are playing any school without an Oregon in its name.

Some years I might even cheer for them against the Ducks.

It seems that the Canes had a coach from the NW. Why would anybody want to root for a NW school with players from Florida, Homer?

Good Point, Steelhead. Down here in Corvallis, we take our good players wherever we can find them. However, as long as they are wearing Black and Orange, they are Beavers. As for the coach, he has earned his redemption. Besides, as a native Idaho boy, he can be justified on the Prodigal Son Clause.

Next up: Miami!!! The most overrated team ever. All Florida teams schedule community colleges so they are all healthy for a big game if they should EVER play one. Im sick and tired of the east coast watching out for those guys. The pac 10 is the toughest conference out there. I have respect for the big 10 and most mid west schools but not the ACC or any of those hosers. We beat miami in miami a few years ago, we spanked them at the Dawg pound last year and we'll beat them like the red haired step child they are this year...

It's kind of funny how all the trash talkin cougar people have suddenly disapered from the radar just like there team did in husky stadium on saturday. They were all talkin major smack how they were going to whoop the dawgs on there on field.
Well obviosly there bell was still ringin from the whoopin the Dawgs put on em last year because they sure looked like a bunch of confused Pussy cats out there. Jason Guesser had to keep Guessin which way he was going to get hit from and boy did true freshman Reggie williams have a field day on those supposedly great DB's
To put it into perspective, WSU will always play second fiddle to The UW !!!!!

Miami is always overrated,but It would be so cool to watch the Dawgs woop a little Canebutt.

You have to love the rivalry between the COUGS and dawgs. It is always a reinactment of big brother versus little brother. As the little brother, I am always rooting for 2 teams to win every week-the cougs and whoever is playing the dawgs. The game was even more important than usual because of the kinda year the cougs were having. Although, not having played well since the Stanford game, they kept overcoming injuries, poor play selection, and tough competition to find a way to win. Led by an undersized QB, a basketball player and great DB's (They are very good, Reggie is just AWESOME) they were now ready to tackle big brother.Alas, big brother stole a chapter from the cougs and made big plays, caused turnovers, and basically bent without breaking. A great for the dawgs... not so fun for us COUGS. Congratualtions Huskies, but please don't expect us to root your condescending, Latte drinking, high rise, fat cat, blue nosed, dawgs. Dawgs vs. Canes. Kinda like the Iraq, Iran war. We wish they could both lose.
