I sent Bob the picture of Kevins' fish. Maybe he can post it. I will also post it in the Three Rivers Marine photo gallery this afternoon.

BNelson

ReiterRat left his puter open! So, I am using it wink

Todd Burroughs did one for me and will be doing one for Scott. Call me I'll get you the number!

I had a 21lb silver replica done at Blackwater trading. Phone #253-584-2817. Check out the web site www.blackwatertrading.com
He only does replicas and mine turned out great. Nobody has been able to tell its not a real fish.I just gave him the head, fins and tail plus the lenth and girth and pictures and he painted the replica to match the fish. It tured out great.

Kev,
In my mind only one place to get a replica done. Dave Campbell at Great NW Fish Taxidermy. He's in the Tacoma area. I think he's won about every award for fish taxidermy there is. Only problem is he has a 2.5-3 year waiting list unless you're willing to pay additional to get moved up. I have 2 fish with him right now. 3 years is a long wait but well worth it!! I believe he has a website as well. Nice fish by the way!!

The one I had done at blackwater trading took 4 months. The guy who makes them is an artist and doesnt do taxadermy. His name is Luke Filmer you may have seen him at the sportsmans show or maybe on nw backroads. When I was at his shop he was working on a 100lb tarpan that was awesome. And he had some finished steelhead waiting to be picked up that were really great too.

here is a mount of a silver i caught last year . dave miskinis did it. his number is 360-426-2894. the repos shrink a little, and he has a form that would be about the same size. it will save you some money.

Luke at blackwater trading co. did a replica for me of a 20 lb. steelhead from pictures and measurements. I couldn't be happier. The wait is not overly long and the work is superb.
