Just bought a rainshadow blank...1143. Can anyone tell me about who is making them and what they are comparible to.

Yes, the Rainshadow blanks are distributed in Sequim, WA by Batson Ent. (wonderful people to work with.)
I have been very impressed with the Rainshadow blanks. They are rated at a GL4 quality blank, 43 million modulus blank.. wonderful warranty, very clean blanks, straiht, very,. very few cosmetic blems..and a great price for a great product.
We have sold a ton of them in the last year and have heard nothing but great things from our customers..

The 1143 (Loomis GL3) is my favorite casting rod. I've had mine since they were first introduced. Does Rainshadow actually make an 1143 equivalent? I didn't see that number in their catalog offerings.
