Just picked up a 1967 sabercraft w/ a 125 Johnson VRO. Includes trailer. If anyone is familiar with the make and model, let me know. Paid $2500. Is that in the ballpark?

Thanks,
rockcod

Hard to say, mattsteelhead...a boat isn't worth any more than someone is willing to pay for it. Congrats on your purchase...er...geee, sorry, I'm sorry to hear about your loss...I wouldn't wish your kind of trouble on anyone except myself...lol...isn't it just a hole in the water you throw money into? Why worry if it's worth it? OF COURSE it's not worth it! lol

...catch a few for me, wontcha?

I've already decided that when I get a boat, its name is going to be Money Pit.

I do not know anything about sabercraft but I fished out of a 69 16' fiberform for years and loved that old 'tub'. smile the only reason I got rid of it was too big for one person to launch and take out comfortably, too much running around racing other boat wakes and such.

I have been fixing up old boats for a few years and I forget about cost effectiveness and look at what suits my needs and go for it.I would hate to say how much I have in my current HiLaker.

You should have taken the Washington State boaters test first.

What you do is this:
1-Go get a 50# block of ice and put it in your bathtub.
2-Strip down and sit on the block of ice till you get nice and cold.
3-Turn the shower on freezing cold and blast it in your face.
4-Pull out your wallet and start flushing $100 bills dow the toilet.

Now IF you enjoyed that go buy yourself a boat and go fish.
