what is the best material to use for the head on trolling flies? have used just plain aquarium tubing but wanted something a little more professional. talkni about ones you use off a downrigger like the grandslam bucktail.

i like to use a 2part epoxy called zpoxy great stuff use an old drill motor to spin the fly to get a nice even diplacement of the stuff.

Ditto...5-minute epoxy.

sorry about not explaning it more but I was referring to the tube itself. what do they use for the tube? that epoxy is good stuff to bind anything.

HMH Flytyers tubes, you can usually get them at most fly shops, but I bet if you look around at some craft shops you could find the same thing.
