Anyone hitting Kayak? Wondering if there has been an action up there yet?

I'll be out there Wednesday morning......
That area has never let me down in 10+ years, but it sure was crowded the last run. Not bad, 'cept when you get the boneheads that see you catching fish and troll right through the middle of the school (of course driving them to deeper water). Happened so many times two years ago I couldnt believe it. Do these folks really have no clue as to how rude they are being?????

LOL. I was there too. Watching the same thing... Grab a cold one and get a good laugh out of it! At least the WDFW hit's that place pretty good now.

I am almost through with work so I think I will run up this afternoon. I have some friends up there now but the cell service is a no go up there.

I just called Kayak Point Park (360-652-7992) and asked how the fishing was for pinks. I was told that they're not really there and it wasn't worth the trip just yet.

was the first boat in at the park this am set out the crab pots and trolled north away from the casters and the dock four hours after four pulls lots of small crabs only two keepers. nada on the fish . didn't see or hear of any either. glenn

I was there too. No fish for me or anyone near me.

Ran up there yesterday. Nice boat ride. No use fishin up there yet. Usually the first week of Sept is the best bet.
