Damn... I have heard of camps being stolen but don't think I have ever heard of one burning down like that. Looks like the wall tent frame was a good one anyway.. you might send that picture to the manufacture.

B-Run:

I spent the first week at home just kinda mopin around, feeling gernerally pretty low & pathetic....

Finally kicked myself in the butt & went and bought new boots, compass and vest and joined some fiends at their camp for 3 days. I never had a shot but the group took 2 cows and a spike.

Looking forward to next year!

Very sorry about the losses. I couldn't even imagine losing my entire camp! It takes a lifetime to accumlate all of the crap we take to camp.
Any thoughts of "snow lightning"? It's a term I heard this year.....my take on the meaning is arson. Did you piss off any of your neighbors or did you set camp in a new spot maybe taking somebodies traditional spot?

That is truly sad about all your possessions especially the stuff you wanted to pass on. I am glad though that all you lost were possessions and everyone is ok.

That just makes me sick!!! What a major bummer!!!!

Man... I can't even imagine. It would be awhile before I could hunt again.
