Hope im not a complete idiot but I need some help. I've got a Tasco 3.5X-10x50 on a Rem 700. Works great at 3.5 but the higher I dile the power the more blurry the reticle gets. taget picture still loks good but the cross hairs are very blurred. Any Ideas? Operator error or is there something I can do to fix this?
Thanks -- Jeff

Hey Jeff,

Most scopes are adjustable for the problem you describe.

Normally there is a lock ring on the end of the scope closest to your eye. You can screw this end of the scope in and out to focus the reticle.

It helps to be looking at a white background, or even the sky when doing this. Make sure you don't screw it out so far it comes apart. If that happens, you have broken the seal and the nitrogen leaks out, and water can leak in.After the reticle is in focus, re-lock the lock ring.

Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Nzzlcrzy, did you get the scope squared away?
