Looking for the general vibe on this new bow, and the cousin, DZ-36. From what I've read, they are sweet quiet bows. Scary silent. Thanks!

$700 seems to be a high price point, but I guess some bows end up costing that much after you add all the bells & whistles.

Thinking of adding a hobby now that I have a place to shoot a bow on a daily basis.

Limbsaver has been putting out good product for awhile. Price is high but any new bow out there is going to cost more than you think it should. And then add in components "bells and whistles"

How much archery have you done in the past? I ask this because you say "hobby". I'm sure most bowhunters and archers who read this will agree that archery can turn from hobby to passion very quickly. Your boys might want one too, after they see the fun you are having. If this is a starter thing, IMO, I would start with less and then graduate to the high dollar stuff. I learned with a recurve, graduated to compound, and still use the bow I had in high school. I will be upgrading this season I hope. I have been eyeing Parker and Martin bows.

Limbsaver bows are SWEET! I shot one at Cabelas. I decided on a Parker and love it. I'm 2 for 3 so far with it (2 kills for 3 shots) in my first year with it. The $700 price tag turned me away from the Limbsaver. I bought my Parker new on Ebay for $400, retail was just over $600. All I can say is if you got the money for the best why not have the best!!

it is a very good product.
My friend shares with me the same fit: 29.5"draw length anyways. His belly is larger and more rotund than mine .

I shot his Limbsaver at #63lb set, very nice and quiet, feels fast.

but I shoot my Matthews switchback xt for 3 years now, set at #70lbs, and I still am happy with it.
