Last I heard they were out of California,I think. It's been a while since I used their product. Rvrfshr is just as good and he gives good customer service.

rvrfshr products are great but I still like the spinner bodies from Mortac.

Also: (not a sponsor) Jack's Snack and Tackle on the Sandy River (Troutdale) has the same molds as mortac. They sell components and built spinners with some good color finishes.

Last I heard, Mortac was out of business, and Pentac was in business. I vote for rvrfshr. Better service, better product.

I think they sold out. About a year ago I found a # & called to see if I could get parts. It was the original owners mother that still had some old stock she was selling. Can't find the # anymore.

Fishforbrains is right, Mortac is out, but Pentac is still in business.

I've placed a few orders with them and so far have no beef with their service.

Go to Don at Fisherman's Shack in Oregon for traditional torpedo bodies.

Good Luck Bill.

Even better, get some RVRFSHR, Pen-Tac, and Mor-Tac components and mix them all up. Make up a spinner composed of all the manufacturer parts and name it something like a:

RiverWingerDingBatTwilerLightBulbDingleBerry Spinner and ask Todd how many of those has has already.
