Satsop River Height & Flows

Never having fished this river much, what is considered *fishable* CFS flows and river heights?

for the mainstem, i like it around 1800-3000. east fork up in the park, 2500-5000.

If you're going by the gauge height, I like 26'.

I like 2K for the drifter, below the park.

I'll fish the lower river with the 16' jet at 1.5K It all depends on the flow out of the West fork for me.

Anybody drive over it today and can give a report on the color? It should be starting to drop back in.

When I used to "brood stock", it was best at 25 - 27 feet but I've sure had days on the East fork, with high water, but clear where the fishing was good.

Main Chehalis looked "ugly" at Fuller Bridge.....

Has anyone been fishing up by schafer park? Thinking about heading that direction in the am......

Still puking mud and whole trees for some reason.

Nothing up high on the Satsop except some moldy old dawgs. I was gonna fish it yesterday but my dad had been up there and said it was not worth the time.

Nice try. Fished it yesterday a light brown ~2ft of vis, turning to a greenish brown by the end of the day. Should have been a sweet color today.

Think Dogfish got the wrong river.......probably went the long way to work....went over the Chehalis at Fuller Bridge, thought to himself, must the the Satsop "pushing back".........lol

Just went over the highway bridge, it's the color of diarrhea.

Started puking mud & whole trees again with this rain we got today.
