Cowlitz Report

Fished it Sunday....blanked, no hits, runs, or errors. Coming back upriver around 2pm, saw only 1 sled fishing and a couple drift boats between mission and the wall. Everyone was stacked at the launch drift, but that was only 10 boats or so. Obviously they didnt whack them on saturday, or it would have been busier. I am chalking it up to the frequently changing water flows, but man it sure seams slow for almost July. Noticed they got over 400 summers this week at Barrier collection, but they must be flying by.

Where is everyone, plunking the Columbia????

I read one of the guides bonked a few over the weekend but the water flows again were over 10,000 cfs.

PUD has been working the water levels like a yo yo, makes for some tough fishing conditions.
