Rivers made the turn today - 01/17/11 09:03 PM

Rivers are on the turn today. Little to no rain the rest of the week and temps have dropped a tad bit. Maybe something will be fishable late this week. Snow melt and Dam controls are the only variables in the equation. Gotta get my fix!

I'm hoping for Thursday. Thinking Friday may be better.

If the color is good and I can row it safely, I'm going Thursday!

Friday is looking like a good day to play hooky, small streams are dropping fast. I worked at 3,000 foot elevation today and it was 36 degrees all day, down from the mid 50`s. May be snow or freezing up there in the morn. That should help things along. Let me know when you got that open seat for me on the other forum. Don`t get to this one as often. Bill

Who said anything about sw wa? Haha. I was joking around hence the "jk. ;)" I think we're all feeling a little stir crazy. You can only tie so many leaders and jigs before you just plain need to get out on the water.

Make it two months. Infact the wash out killed all the B run fish so everyone should just stay home til springer season. Go pick mushrooms or take pics of bald eagles.

Jgrizzle is only partially correct. This is the end as we know it. It's over for good. You can all send every bit of gear and all your rods and reels, drift boats, and sleds to my house. PM me for an address wink

Already hearing reports of fish from trust worthy sources today

Re: Rivers made the turn today - 01/19/11 02:12 AM

Would not doubt it. A lot of smaller streams come in quicker and there are certain areas on bigger water were fish will hug the shore. Water levels are coming down nice. Should be good for my days off.
