Public Access to Lake Cushman?

So what's the deal with Lake Cushman these days? Is there any place on the lake where the general public can launch a boat right now?

I know the Lake Cushman Resort (formerly a state park) usually allows launching for a fee, but their website says the launch will be closed this season due to the lake being lowered for dam repairs.

Any ideas?

You may be out of luck all season for launching trailered boats. Might just be hand carried canoes and rowboats this year. The lake will be held to a low elevation all summer for the dam work.
