Lingcod - 05/07/12 10:45 AM

Just a lingcod novice here wondering if somebody could point me in the right direction where to fish for them anywhere from PnP to Alki. Most likely putting the boat in at Edmonds, Everett or W Seattle. I'm clueless but need a fish fix. I also have an open seat on my boat. Any advice would help. Thanks

Rocks=lings. From W. Seattle, hit the south side of Blakely Rock. Bring live bait (and I do mean alive and frisky) and hold on.

I personally would not keep anything coming out of the Sound but you can catch them quite easily in Elliot Bay.

Near Elliot Bay Marina – Out in front by the rock wall and around the corner by the small park in Magnolia.

Near Pier 86 and along the grain terminal (we caught some huge Cabazon’s) maybe the same ones over and over.
