Well Boys and GIRLS(Team Sky Valley Sucks)...it's about time to start thinking about SRC 2013. The committee would like to make this one even bigger and better than last year and are looking to add some new blood to the mix. For the veterans, please start putting your team together and let us know who's in ASAP. Depending on the number of Vets, we may be able to add some newbies!
If you are virgin SRC blood please let us know if you are interested in putting a team together. Please do not be offended if you are not offered a spot this year as we do want to keep the numbers to a reasonable level, but you may just get lucky and have the privilege of getting, spooled by a 5 lb brat, shot at by potato guns, your fish stolen, zip tied, etc. The number of new teams offered spots will completely depend on the number of veterans committed.
SRC will be Friday December 6th and we will be reserving the Bogey house once again for the Thursday evening pre funk...there will be a few new things happening there as well (Poker tourney???), but that is still in process. You will here about it very soon!
For those vets that would like a spot at the bogey house please send me a PM as the beds there will once again be first come first serve.

Scott, Being a non-boater in "Ditch-Pickle" speak. Does a "Rookie" squad have to have a " SRC Vet" ride along with to be a team???
Also wanted to know if there's any regulations that needed to be adhered to in the manufacture of a "Spud Gun"???
Lastly, is there a list of "Legal Rods" to be used at this year's event??? I got my eye on a "Scooby Do" combo, but if she's not legal I'll find something else!!!
Provided I pass the background check, and reference's come back ok to participate in this year's SRC..........

Yeah why not! Maybe we can even get Stam to be our Skipper!?!? What do you say Stam??? Or are you holding out for a more colorful /illustrious /notorious crew!?!? But I don't know, I haven't passed the credit check, or pre game physical, to be a participant in this year's SRC. I might just be like YBD and be plunking right in the middle of the hatchery hole that day!!! Joe

Team plunking@ssholeBuschlighttallboy. We can scream at every boat that gets near our gear (which will be in the middle of the river) and accuse every boat of being a guide and not leaving any fish. Lol.
Hey does anyone know if I use an adjustable regulator, and lengthen the barrel by 10MM on this, I could gain another 500fps??? Or am I over thinking it, and should just go with a bigger Co2 cannister??? Just asking, Winterun

Lets just say I have a plan that was essentially approved by a few members of the "rules committee" last year. A little more shock & awe than a water balloon.
Team Sky Valley Sucks is in again this year, it will be at least 3 of us and would like to get spots at the house. We most likely will have one new member Tom if the commity permits, he is a ringer.
