More fish, more rivers, more fun with 22nd Annual Fisherman’s Marine & Outdoor Spring Fishing Classic

You could win $500 at the Fisherman's Marine & Outdoor Spring Fishing Classic on April 5, and with state officials forecasting 85-percent more Chinook over last year, your chances nearly doubled!

Register now for the 22nd year of this always-fun event. Have a chance at the $500 D&G Bait Biggest Fish Contest, or see if your team of three can bring in the biggest catch. With more than 227,000 fish expected to return this spring, should be some great fishing! Get warmed up for the 1.6 million fall chinook expected this summer!

But wait, there's more! Be one of the first 25 teams to register, and enter a drawing to win a free team of three for 2015! There are only 10 team spots left to get in on this contest!

It's the first event of the year for the Northwest Sportfishing Industry Association, and this year it is on Saturday, April 5, at a new location, the Holiday Inn Portland Airport.

Fish the Columbia or any of its tributaries, and benefit the NSIA at the same time. Register now for your day of fishing, a raffle, a scrumptious dinner and a silent auction. Also be on hand when we raffle off the brand new Willie drift boat on a Clackacraft trailer! Get your $5 drift boat raffle tickets at any Fisherman's Marine store.

Cost for the event is $80 per person, or $240 for a team of three, $400 for a team of five, or $480 for a team of six. You could win the $500 biggest fish prize or your team could take home the best team award.

The event is sponsored by Fisherman’s Marine & Outdoor, Lowrance, Doherty Ford in Forest Grove, Abu Garcia, Penn, Lamiglas, Fred Meyer, NW Sportsmen, Freshwater News, Salmon Trout Steelheader, Clackacraft and Willie Drift Boats.

With the chinook forecast we got for the CR, this should be a good one.
